Nurse to Patient and Midwife to Patient Ratios: Acute Mixed Ward
Reporting Period 1st September, 2024 to 28th February 2025
In line with the amendments to the Safe Patient Care (Nurse to Patient and Midwife to Patient Ratios) Amendment Act 2020, Yarrawonga Health’s (YH) mixed ward ratio calculation is published on the YH public website and communicated with the key Acute and AHC staff members to ensure that the legislated ratios are maintained. Any deviation from these will be documented on the daily AHC report and reported by phone to the rostered DCS or delegate.
