Yarrawonga Health and Helping Hands have launched the Community Heart Appeal, a year-long fundraising initiative aimed at improving healthcare services in our region. The appeal focuses on raising funds to purchase vital equipment and furnishings for the theatre and main entrance as part of our ongoing capital redevelopment.

The completion of this major project will enable additional surgeries closer to home, broaden employment opportunities, and improve access to acute and urgent care services. This growth is essential to meet the demands of our expanding cross-border population.

This major project includes a state-of-the-art operating theatre, a new sterilising department, and a refreshed main entrance, all designed to meet the growing demands of our community. With the Victorian Government providing $10.8 million in capital funding, we are well on our way to expanding our capabilities.

Community support is crucial to the success of the Community Heart Appeal. There will be multiple ways to contribute, including donations and participation in fundraising activities. A "Shopping List" will be available soon, detailing specific items needed for the project.
